Procession

Welcome back to generation why An Arty Feminist brought to you by An Arty Feminist.

On Sunday I went to a procession marking the anniversary of when white middle class women got the vote in Britain.

I say middle class women because that’s the truth. Other women didn’t get the vote in Britain until later.

We went to the meadows and we got our scarfs (either purple, green or white) and we marched in order of colours. It was organised incredibly well and from above you could see the colours.

People had made these amazing banners and flags with all these amazing cutouts and quotes.

It was really fun and we marched from the meadows to the parliament.

The only thing wrong was that it was clearly marked online as a female only march. That’s because it’s an issue that women want to celebrate with other woman.

But men decided that they needed to come as well. As they say said they were fighting for equality they ignored the fact that it was a woman only march. They decided that they needed to be there as well. They decide that there privilege was more important at a woman’s only march than the women who fought to be there.

Eye improvement

Welcome back to generation why An Arty Feminist brought to you by An Arty Feminist.

I’m sorry I haven’t posted in quite a while but I got logged out of my account.

I’ve been doing a page of eyes for about a month now so I’ve decided to post a picture of it. I’ve done ten eyes on it.

Please post in the comments your favourite eye and what you think I need to improve on. I would love to hear what you think. But if your going to leave criticism remember to say it nicely.

Infinity war update

Welcome back to generation why An Arty Feminist brought to you by An Arty Feminist.

So I’ve been drawing the infinity war poster so here’s an update on how it’s going.

On the second image on tony starks face there’s a smudge from a rubber and I can’t rub it out so if you know a way to do that please comment down below. Is it possible to colour over it with prismacolor pencils? I honestly don’t know.

Pro choice protest

Welcome back to generation why An Arty Feminist brought to you by An Arty Feminist.

Today a bunch of people from a Catholic Church held a protest against abortion, they do this every year so every year a bunch of pro choice people stand opposite them on the other side of the road.

This was the first year that I went to it and I found it pretty good. Everyone from the pro choice bit made there own signs and banners and it was so cool. At the front we had a sign saying something like honk for choice and so many people honked which made me really happy.

The anti abortionists stood with pre-made signs across the road. They get funded by the church to do it so that’s why they had pre-made signs. I prefer actually making signs which shows you put some effort into what your doing. They also stood there with freezing toddlers and baby’s who clearly weren’t happy and it didn’t really make sense as they’re saying saves the babies and help the babies. I just found that a bit weird.

I believe in prochoice as it’s not a bunch of old people or a bunch of men’s choice it’s a women’s. why would it be anyone else’s choice other than the person it truly effects. That is my opinion and I’m going to stick with it.

My signs:

Zendaya

At school we’re doing a project and I’m doing mine on realism and you have to spend 12 hours doing it. Here’s a picture I drew of Zendaya which I’m really proud of and I hope you like it.
